When to take off color and when to put it on. DO THIS IN CHARACTER - UPSET you are taking the color off.

On my color, the Waterfall scene is right before Candy comes in. Do you want me to put it on and then take it right back off? Also, do we shed the color again once Rached finds us at the party, or when Billy dies? Or do we shed it at all then?
ReplyDeleteI saw that I needed to have some color. I don't know what I should use. Maybe an undershirt or somthing of that sort. Just let me know what I should do. -Paige
ReplyDeletePut a bow in the back of your hair. Put a flower on your lapel - something simple.
DeleteOk guys it's really important we're all on the same page when it comes to the color thing! If it's suppose to be a dark scene and we arnt paying attention have color it's gonna throw everything off so be sure you're aware of what's going on and what props/costumes you need at all times!
ReplyDeletePlease look at Savannah's comment.
DeleteWe need to work on people noises. We haven't worked much on them and it get extremely quiet without them
ReplyDeleteThe people noises really need to be worked on. If we can get the colors down it will add a really cool effect to the play. I personally need to work on my body language when flirting with Flinn and looking around before making my first line. We are making good progress and if we work on the small details it will improve tremendously.
ReplyDeleteIf we can get our people noises down it will really add to the play. I mean when we went to Big Spring what did we hear all the time? People talking to each other, talking to themselves and some of them just made little noises. This will really help our "asylum" feel like an actual mental hospital.
ReplyDeleteIm not sure exactly how austin and i should take part with the colors but im interested to see how we can participate. I think we can make a good improvement in tomorrow nights rehearsal but we have to be focused and ready to get better.
ReplyDeleteThe colors really have a huge effect on our show. When we first brought up the idea, I was skeptical because I didn't think very many people would notice, but Freida noticed so I guess I was wrong. The colors let the audience know how the character is feeling at that point in the play.
ReplyDeleteI am excited for our next clinic, but there are alot of awkward pauses
ReplyDelete-Brooke
One thing we need to evaluate is our characters exact mental disability. This will help us make more people noises and show us how our character would react w each other
ReplyDeletethe people noises is a big part of this, because we can't have awkward silent pauses steeping on lines will help with this as well and the more people noises we have the more it will seem like it is a crazy hospital
