Our second clinic is February 17 - we go on first at 8AM. You should be back in class by 11.
The first two are with Freida.
Our third clinic is February 27 with Lou Lindsey - one of the best directors in the state.
Our last clinic is March 3 in Snyder with the Newtons. We haven't been back there since our school district was hit with budget cuts.
SPRING BREAK - Remember that we have rehearsal that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before we return from Spring break. If there are conflicts on Friday, we will do all day Saturday and Sunday at regular time.
Sunday - be on stage by 2PM in costume if you want to be out by the Super Bowl. I'll let you out at 4:30. Have all lines memorized. I will take grades and Ms. Griffis will film. We will post it and you must review it and comment before Monday.

Lines added before Mac and Bromden come in with Here come the champs!
Ratched: May I, Doctor? We have just come from the treasurer's office. It
concerns Randle Patrick McMurphy.
Scanlon- yeah where you got im?
Nurse R- no he's in the recovery room and will be back
shortly. This gentleman, is a record of Mr. mcMurphy's gains in the short time
he has been here on the ward. How much did you lose? Billy? Mr. Harding?
Harding- Miss Ratched... He never made any pretense about
his motives.
Scanlon- said he was out to take us and by Jupiter he has
done it!
Cheswick- Mac!

Scanlon – Candy showed up yet?
Warren – I don’t know nothing about no Candy
Warren puts keys in
Mac’s hands – Mac throws them to Harding
Mac –Open the window, huh?
Harding – She walks in beauty.
After Sandra says, “This place is dangerous.”
Add Candy – “Come on, Billy.” They
leave.
Harding – Mac, we’re going to miss you.
Mac- So, why don’t you all come along?
Harding – Oh, I’ll be going soon. But I’ve got to do it in my own way.
Mac: What is it with you guys?
Harding doesn’t answer
Mac – Hey, what’s happening to the party?
At the hospital in Big Spring there was this guy that sat at my table and copy everything I did. So maybe one of the characters could do this.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I would like to work on is the dance scene where we are in the back standing on our chairs. I think if we worked on the timing the dance would look a lot better.
ReplyDeleteOk our clinic is rapidly approaching so everyone make sure you know all your lines! It's hard to get a good idea of our preformance and the time when we keep having awkward pauses and dropped lines! Crunch time!
ReplyDeleteclinic coming up soon its time to get mor serious about our lines and transition. time can be shorten by knowing our lines and knowing when to exsit and enter onn to stage.
